Who owns G.Network, and is it stable?
Materially restructured in 2026. FitzWalter Capital acquired its secured debt and equity in January 2026, the business filed to appoint administrators, and it exited administration debt-free in March 2026. The trading entity is now G.Network Holdco Limited, company number 16971502, which confirms that restructure completed. Around 106 of 230 staff were made redundant, new senior leadership arrived in April and it is still trading and selling to consumers.

Is G.Network Gigafast really a gigabit?
Not quite, and G.Network says so itself. The package is sold as Gigafast 1Gbps, but its own small print states up to 900 Mb, so 900 is the figure we show. The gap makes almost no practical difference at these speeds, but a gigabit headline against a 900 Mb footnote is the sort of thing worth knowing before you compare it with a rival quoting the honest number.
What does the three-month satisfaction guarantee cover?
It lets you leave within the first three months if the service does not deliver what was sold. That is a genuinely unusual offer on a long broadband contract, where you would normally be committed from the moment the engineer leaves. Get the terms in writing before you rely on it, because what counts as not delivering is the part that matters.
Will G.Network pay to get me out of my current contract?
It offers a contract buyout on 24-month terms, meaning it puts money towards what your existing provider charges you to leave early. How much you actually get back depends on your own exit fee, so check the offer against the figure on your current bill rather than assuming it clears the whole thing.
What is Full-On WiFi, and do I need it?
It is G.Network's add-on for pushing usable Wi-Fi into the parts of a home a single router struggles to reach, and it comes bundled into the Gigafast Extra tier along with a fixed IP address. Worth having if your furthest rooms are weak, worth skipping if they are already fine, because it improves the Wi-Fi inside your home rather than the fibre line coming into it.
Does G.Network charge to connect?
Normally £29. It is currently waived on the two Gigafast tiers when you take a 12 or 24 month term, an offer G.Network has said ends on 1 September 2026. Ultrafast and every rolling monthly deal still carry the charge, so add it in when you compare the first-year cost rather than assuming free installation.
Can I get G.Network without a long contract?
Yes, and it is one of the more useful things about them. Every tier is sold on a rolling monthly term as well as 12 and 24 months, which is uncommon and genuinely handy if you rent or expect to move. It costs more: the same package runs roughly £12 a month above the two-year price, and the connection charge is not waived on a rolling deal.
Is G.Network safe to sign a two-year contract with?
It went through administration in early 2026 and came out debt-free under a new holding company, with roughly half its staff cut. That is a real restructure rather than a rebrand, and the business is trading and taking orders.
